LEAVING HOME

Poster & social media design for Matchstick Theatre's 2024 production of Leaving Home; A Canadian play by David French which debuted in 1972. This show portrays one especially tumultuous night in the lives of the Mercer family - Newfoundlanders living and working in a suburb of Toronto in the 1950's. Matchstick's challenge to me this time around; Develop art that stays true to the original roots of this play - is authentic for the setting - captures the mood - and reflects the company’s unique execution of it.
